Ice maker has stopped doing anything. It looks like there is about 5/8" of water in tray.
I see on ice maker dwgs for this model, there is a "Clip - fuse". Also, on a generic dwg it showed a wiring harness with the fuse clip.
I assume that means there is a fuse to check as a cause of the problem?
Where would it be located?
The ice & water dispenser and their lights are working ok.

Thanks,
Ray

Hi Ray

The thermal fuse is spliced into the black wire of the ice maker wiring harness. It is not resettable and if it's blown, the ice maker has to be replaced.

- The part number for the ice maker is AP2984633

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool refrigerator Model ED5CHQXKT03

Good luck.
Gene.

There is a thermal fuse in the ice maker but the is one between the mother board and the ice make also. I checked the one on the ice maker and it is good but the one between the main pcb and the ice maker is blown.
