i actually have that one printed out it doesnt match up at all. on the back of the timer i have the letters gy, yl, rd, or, m, wh, and s. the wires for the motor are colored as follows: pink, yellow/black, orange, pink and white green and yellow, grey, pink and white. some of the connectors shaped like this |-|and some like this -. its just not adding up to the diagram. the timer motor part number is AP4047639. so you can see part of what im looking at.

If you click on the picture in the parts and get the second page then in the Q&A there is a question on the wiring. There is a link there that opens a wiring diagram for a different unit but it seems to match your unit in many ways.
I cannot say which diagram is correct. You will have to trace each wire to see where it is connected.
You also mention the motor wires which seems strange when you say you are reconnecting the timer. |

sorry about being unclear. i am tracing wires from the motor there are only three coming up from it to the timer a blue, yellow and black, and black a white which splits into three different wires inside the control panel. i dont understand how to get to the other diagram you were speaking about. is it actually in the parts section of the website.

Yes it is in the parts. Often if you click on a part's picture a new page will open with more views , info and a Q&A section. Click on the Q to see the A. In this case it was the 4th question when i clicked on the timer. Anyway here is the link. the A said it was for a MDET236AWY http://www.appliancepartspros.c...=5174207&NewWindow=1 |
