Hello, my garbage disposer has been working great until a glass and plastic thermometer feel into and bound the unit up. I stopped it and removed as much of the debris as I could. The unit still just hums while refusing to turn. I tried the reset button, no change. Is there a fitting that I can insert an Allen wrench to turn the shaft helping to free up the motor?

Should bean allen fitting on the bottom (insinkerator models) otherwise there is a tool (cheap) to go inside with a handle to turn it, or a large stick.:)
