dear sirs: my father who is a, alshimers patient recently wash a disposalble adult diaper in there washer. the jell clocked and locked up the pump, inturn melted the motor pulley, and drive belt. i replaced the pump, motor pulley,and belt. when turning on the washer the motor hums and no rotation until i spin the pulley and then the washer advances into spin cycle it will hum again untill i spin the drive pulley and in stead of spinning it agitates still, it never spins on any part of the timer only agitates. is it the motor, trans, or drive bushing? any help you can suggest please, my parents are on a fix income with no money to buy a washer thanks

You might be missing the tension spring seated on the left side of the motor.

It is common for the timer contacts to burn open for the motor start winding.
Unfortunately, you have a plastic timer that you can't take apart to verify.
I would confirm with an amprobe, but you probably don'y have one. Order it here, AP4025061

Try shorting the lid switch and see if it will spin.

It's possable you have either a bad start switch in the motor, or a bad timer, or a bad start capacitor, a meter would help to determine which one.
