We have a Maytag Dishwasher Model MDB9100. It suddenly will not fill with water. It appears to be going through the wash cycle but without water. Do you have suggestions as to what we can check? Thank you.
CORRECTION: Sorry for any confusion regarding the model number of this dishwasher. The user's guide indicates Model MDB9100 when the actual model number on the dishwasher is MDBD880AWB.

Check to see if the float is stuck. If you have a meter, check for power to the water solenoid.

Thanks for your reply. Do we need to remove the float to clean? If so, how do we do that? Also, where is the water solenoid located? We have looked at the online diagrams but do not see this part.
BTW, sorry for any confusion regarding the model number of this dishwasher. The user's guide indicates Model MDB9100 when the actual model number on the dishwasher is MDBD880AWB.
Thanks again.

Remove the kick panel below the door, water solenoid and float switch on the left side.
