I have to reprogram the time and date each time it shuts off before the cook cycle completes. Just like I have to do if there is a power outage. I would like to know if there is a part that goes bad that would cause this and can I fix it easily or would it be time to buy a new microwave? Thanks, Dan.

If you need the correct part number for the magnetron then post the rest of the model number. The name plate is inside the microwave. Gene.

Hi Gene, here is the complete information on the name plate: GE Space Maker Model #: JVM1650BB 003 Serial #: AZ951227S Manufactured January 2000 1.58KW FCC ID: A3LotR7ST Please let me know what the part number of the Magnatron is.
