Model WTW6400SW3
I was washing towels(maybe too many). The washer started at 55..then stopped when it got to 45 and wouldn't continue. I hit cancel then power..everything beeped when I hit it except start. It's flashing green but does nothing when I push it. I've tried unplugging, removing all clothes and trying to do a "clean cycle",but the start button will not connect.
Is there a reset button or someting that I need to do that will require calling out a service tech? Help! :(

Had someone come by to look the washer. He said the start button is broken and he will need to replace the whole console. Looking at around $240. Does this seem about right?

Possible and, if it's right, then the price is very good. Ask him about his warranty on repair. Confirm before repair starts that if the new part would not fix the problem then you are not paying for it.

So this repair guy just calls me and says the part was a little more than he expected and he now needs to charge me an addition $80. for the part and his gas. Guess he's out. I found the console for $170. Is this something that I can possible put on myself?

I just spoke with him and he said that it's the Control Board part#8564291 that's bad. He says there's no way I could replace it on my own.
