I want to replace the burned-out lamp, but it requires removal of the case. The screw on the lower left on the back of the case is a tamperproof torx screw requiring a hollow torx bit. Can you tell me what size bit to use, e.g. T-20, T-25, T-27, etc.? I bought a set of bits on ******** but none of them fit. Does it require a precisely machined bit or did GE use a proprietary machined torx screw requiring a specialized tool only available to certified technicians? It just galls me that I may have to have a repairman do this simple lamp replacement and end up paying a lot of money. Any help is appreciated. Many thanks.

I'm quite surre its a Tamper-proof 20. DON'T forget that even when unplugged, theres 4000 volts of STORED power in there!!! They don't want the "average Joe" in there!!!:)

Hello 'Drags1998'... Thx a million for fast reply. WOW... didn't know that. That explains the difficult accessibility. So..I'll swallow my DIY pride and either let it work w/o a light or pay the 'man' to do the job. I don't need to light up before the lamp does! Thx again for the heads-up. Regards.
