Dryer runs. Tumbler works. It just decided to quit heating. No heat at all. how do I trouble shoot what to replace? Is it a Heating Element, Thermal fuse, Thermal cut off kit, cycling thermostate, High limit thermostate or what else?
Thank you.

Hi,
The most common thing would be that the heating element simple burnt out.
This is how I would troubleshoot it.
1. Check voltage to the dryer with my multimeter to make sure I had 220-240 Vac to the dryer.
2. Remove the back of the dryer and ohm out the heating element with my multimeter.
3. If the heater was ok I would next check the high limit thermostats on the side of the heating element.
If you don't have a multimeter to do these check you may also be able to simple remove the heating element and just look at the coil to see if there are any breaks in the element. If there are it needs to be replaced.
