Sometimes if I boil water (like when I make rice), when the buzzer comes on to tell me the microwave has stopped, I see water on the counter which I believe has come from inside the microwave (under the door). I believe this only happens when the water boils over. My question is: if water can come out from under the door, what is to stop microwaves from coming out from under the door? Is it normal, if water happens to boil over, for it to come out from under the door of a microwave?

The radio waves that a microwave produces to heat the food can not be compared to the water that leaks out the bottom of your door when you boil water over. The microwave simply don't come out the bottom of the door like water can. Nothing to worry about.
