The washer stopped draining water from the tub in the final spin cycle. I tried repositioning the timer switch to "spin" in perma press, but same results. Checked for obstructions in water drain from tub to pump and from pump to drain. No clogs.

I opened front of washer cabinet to check to see if pump pulley is spinning when washer is in "spin" cycle. Pump pulley is stationary while machine is in "spin". Pump belt is very loose and not moving, while motor and drive belt are moving.

So, is it the pump pulley/pump, or pump belt? Doing the pump belt adjustment, there is no space between the inside surfaces of the pump belt.

The drive belt was broken when we opened up the washer. We have gotten a new belt, but do not know how it was installed around the pulleys.
