I have an Whirlpool dryer model # LER7620LW0. It was working fine for one load, then on the next load it will not get hot nor does the timer decrease. It comes on but not working properly. Any ideas as to what my issue is?

Very strange problem.

When it does not run, have you tried it in timed dry.
The reason I ask is that in auto modes the timer motor gets it's power through the heating coil when the heating coil is off. In timed dry it gets it's power directly from the line.

So if the timer runs in timed dry and not in auto odds are rgere is a loose connection or a broken wire in the heating coil that is opening when the unit gets hot.
