Hello and good morning.
Thanks for accepting me into your forum.
I have a Kenmore Elite Washer and its not draining. I check the drainage area it was clog with a little peace of something like a socks or so. After un-clogging and replacing the strainner it drained once and then started with a grinding sound and stop draining.
I waited a wile to see, tock of the clean out area to see if it was still clog but no and it still did not draine.
My guess that it is the pump but not sure. Came up with part # 280187 but it shows the pump with the cleanout ensamble. If that is the problem can i just buy the pump only and not the ansamble?

Thanks much and looking forward to a great relationship. I like your forum already.

Hi Bernard

I do not think you can purchase just the pump, nor would I recommend it.

I do suggest you shop around to different internet parts site and see what the best price is. I think you will find quite a bit of variation.

Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.
