My built-in Ge Monogram al of a sudden stopped working. The timer counts down and all the lights etc. work but the microwave doesn't come on or cook. Any ideas?

Hello. Check the door switches. If they are bad, they can cause the microwave to do this. If you need more help, please provide your model number. Thanks. Model Number Locator

re lights on..timer counts down but microwave doesn't work..

t checked the hinges and do not see anything wrong. The model is ZMC1090WV001

Hello. You will need to test the door switches, not check the hinges. Here is what the part looks like. Also, make sure the switch holder is working properly on the unit. Hope this helps.

Hello. Click on this link. The switches are number 81 and 82 in the diagram. Hope this helps.
