The microwave was working last night. This morning, the pad works, all settings work, but the microwave do not come on. Please could you tell me what to check for. Thanks, Judy

Does it make any noise or it's silent? Does the time counts down even if it's silent?

Yes, the microwave is silent, but the clock does count down.

Remove the top grille, open the control panel and check the door switches.
