Hi,

I have a Haier HWR10XC5-T window air conditioning unit that is around 4-5 years old. I just reinstalled it this week and I noticed when I plugged it in that the compressor immediately kicked on, even though the unit was turned off and there were no lights lit on the control panel. The compressor stays on nonstop regardless of what the thermostat setting is on or even if the unit itself is on. As long as it's plugged in to the wall the compressor stays on.

Any ideas on how to fix/what to replace on this?

Thanks for any help
