Our Maytag portable air conditioner is not cooling as it should. :( We are using it for the first time this season and have not had problems up until this point. It is pulling the humidity out of the air, but not properly cooling the room. A quick peek in the back revealed partially frozen coils. Is there anyway I can fix this on my own ?? If not, does anyone know how much it would cost to have serviced ?? Thanks so much for your time. :)

HI

There is blockage in the line. This is why you are getting ice. You need a person who has the equipment for A/C to do this repair. It is cheaper to get a new A/C portable unit. If it is under warranty get a new one.
