Hi.

I have a GE Gas Dryer, Model DDG7286 that has suddenly developed a problem. The dryer will tumble, but does not heat up. The timer knob does not appear to move after the cycle is started and the machine does not shut off. Any ideas as to how I should proceed?

Most likely the problem with your dryer is a bad timer which has to be replaced in such case.
