Timer knob will turn the timer shaft, but when you pull it out to start the washer, it just falls off. The timer shaft seems to be missing the middle screw that appears in the picture online. Can I just replace the knob, or does the whole timer need replacing. Photo of timer shaft attached.

I don't see damage to the shaft so I think you can get by with just replacing the knob.
