My roper gas dryer turns on like normal but theres no heat. It also keeps spinning and doesn't turn off like it used to. It just continues to tumble, with no heat, until I manually shut it off. Periodically you can smell gas in the room but I have checked the gas line and can't find any leaks. Single Mom needs help.:(

You have to have a simple multimeter to test a few parts. Let us know when you are ready.

TY The problem in such situation is a bad coil on the gas valve. No doubt about it. - The part number for the coil kit is AP3094251Gene.
