Hello,

I own a MEDB400VQ0 Maytag Bravos Dryer. I recently opened up my unit because I had air ducts cleaned and the technician mentioned the dryer was not blowing correctly. After opening the dryer front panel, I noticed the PULLEY-MTR (item 52) was unscrewed from the blower wheel and the short blower belt was not connected. This was the cause of the blower not functioning correctly. The motor is working correctly and tumbling. I screwed the pulley/nut back on to the shaft of the blower and reattached the belt in the appropriate direction. The dryer was then functioning correctly after a test and a few loads. I then checked on it later in the day and the blower was not functioning correctly. The same problem. The pulley/nut became unscrewed.

Is there a part/screw that I am missing? I don't know why this item became unscrewed form the very beginning and keeps on coming unscrewed since the motor pulls it in the direction that it is tightened. Please help because I am at a loss after reviewing the parts available for this item.

Thanks in advance for your help.
