Thanksgiving is approaching and my garbage disposal is dead. Firstly it is a batch fed garbage disposal. For a long time it would not shut off after I disengaged the stopper. Now I can't get it to turn on. I am assuming it is something in connection that is not meeting. I had a repair guy come out today and he said he didn't know how to repair batch fed. It grinds wonderfully...I would like to repair if possible. Your help is appreciated.
