Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/3/2011(UTC) Posts: 2		I bought this dishwasher new on 03/20/1998, and it was serviced on 03/24/2008, "repaired burnt wire at power cord." It was working yesterday, I heard a crackling noise and observed some smoke coming from the vent on the front panel. It no longer works. I took the attached two photos of where the smoke was coming from, under the lower panel on the left. Can anyone advise me if this is the same issue as in 1998, or a new issue? wdlugitch attached the following image(s):
