I read many of the threads concerning bad magnetrons on the GE XL1800.
Yesterday, I replaced the light bulb on this unit, but now it won't heat. Light works and the tray turns but no heat.
All I did was replace the light....didn't mess with anything else but am thinking it can't just be coincidence. Interesting to note that the bulb was out for over a month and I just found the time to replace it, however the unit worked fine until I replaced the bulb.
Thanks for any insight.

This would be an odd coincidence, so you may want to get back in and make sure there isn't a wire that come loose somewhere. Also, if you can provide a full model number, it will be easier to offer assistance.
