I need to change out the door gasket on the above refrigerator. Owners/service manual does not cover that. What is the correct way to remove the (E) gasket and install the (N) gasket?

Tom,
here are basic instructions for removing the type door seal gasket on your refrigerator.

Door Gasket

Note: The door gasket is held in a retainer

channel.

1. Pull the old gasket out of the channel.
2. Soak the new gasket in warm water to make it more pliable.
3. Using the back of a teaspoon, push the barbed edge of the gasket into the retaining channel.

To remove the seal, it's best to start at the middle top portion of the door, and work your way around in either direction.

To install the seal it's best to start in a corner and work your way around.
Keep a blow dryer handy to keep the seal soft and pliable(especially the remaining corner).

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
