Good Day.

I have a Maytag MAV7000AWW, and have been experiencing noises and shaking with the unit. The first part of the problem was the pump, which has been replaced. Piece of cake.

Now, the unit runs, but it is still very loud throughout the cycle and now shakes consideribly during spin. Also, the brake is bad - real obvious there.

My thoughts are to replace the thrust bearing assy, snubber and brakes.

Can anyone confirm that this is a good course of action? Also, I have read the Performa thread on removing the brake w/o the tool. Do those same rules apply with this machine?

Thanks!

No water issues. Just the noise and vibration.
