I'm having trouble finding a fuse for my microwave. It is a short ceramic fuse. It reads f15h250v.

I can only find ceramic fuses that are 1 1/4 in. If someone could help me locate one, I would greatly appreciate it.

I also thought about just buying a fuse holder and using the longer fuse. The only problem I see with this is that the fuse goes into a solid state board (noise filter). I could put a slug in it and just run the fuse after the noise filter. I could also put the fuse in before the noise filter with some modifications.

Edit:
I would add the fuse before the noise filter just in case it malfunctions.

Can someone tell me if the noise filter is necessary? I was thinking about eliminating it.
