I have a GE Spacesaver Microwave. Model number JVM1533WD 003. It stopped working. No power at all. No lights, no readout on the display, nothing.

I checked the outlet. It is good.

Replaced the fuse. No change.

I have no clue what to do next other than buy a new microwave and since I am not included in the President's stimulus bill, that is not in the cards right now.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Steve,

Check for continuity the magnetron thermal fuse (#56 on the diagram) and the cavity thermal fuse (#27 on the diagram). The microwave has to be removed from the cabinet for these tests.

- The part number for the magnetron thermal fuse is AP3186810

- The part number for the cavity thermal fuse is AP3792877

Gene.
