Dishwasher suddenly stopped working. Breaker not tripped, power going to unit, power going to control panel, door switch ohm reading good.

Lights on control panel not coming on and washer will not turn on. Even after throwing breaker on and off. What gives? Is there a internal fuse that I am missing? Or is the entire control panel shot?

THanks
Brian

There is a thermal fuse (AP3178588) attached to the side of the control board. You probably have voltage on one side but not the other. It usually fails with water still in the tub during a heating cycles. If it turns out to be the fuse, install the entire kit and not just the fuse, or you may be doing it again soon.

Thanks. I removed the fuse and checked the ohms and also by-passed it and the washer worked. It's the culprit! I'll be ordering this new part tonight.

Good call. Follow the instructions in the kit and you should be good.
