Suddently my microwave keeps on running and does not stop until I open the door. I pulled the power cord and plugged it back hoping to clear the problem but the problem remains. It runs by itself when door closed. I tried pressing all different buttons but have no effect. The only way to stop it is to open the door. When the door is open, lighs comes on and it stops running. No heat neither. Seems like just cold air. Please help tell me what is wrong with it. If the problem is PCB, then I might as well buy a new one because PCB costs over 100 dollars.
Thank you. JT

Wow. You replied very fast. I am impressed. But the probably is I do not know what the interlocks is and where it is located in the microwave. I tried to search for it on appliancespartspro and other websites but could not find it. Can you please send me the link where I can find and buy it. Thank you again for your help.

You deserve donation/gift. Unfortunately I just lost my job. Do you provide technical support for job hunting too? :-). Any way, if you happen to come to Atlanta GA some day, let me know and I will treat you to lunch.

I have a LG lmv2083st that is having the same problem, fan running on its own when the door is closed but no heat (works fine when I set the timer and heat things up). Will the solution be the interlocks like on the other persons model? Thank you very much.
