Gene. Is this latch difficult to install? I pried mine up slightly (touch of a blacksmith), and of course broke it. My door would not stay shut, so of course pulling upward on a plastic peice was my clever notion of making it work better. I've ordered the peice and hope you can help. Thanks

Going on the other posts that said it was a 20 minute job, I decided to tackle it myself. Wow, it really was pretty easy. I was kinda nervous getting into it, not knowing what I would find in there, since I had no photo references. So, I thought I would post these pics to show how easy it was. Typical European engineering... snap together tabs are the name of the game. Easy peasy! Some tips and pics, since none seemed to be posted here. 1) you only need to remove the lower 6 T-20 Torx screws (3 each side). Keep a hand on the front panel, since it will want to fall off and possibly strip a screw hole when you get down to the last one. You don't need to remove the upper Torx screws. They hold the plastic control panel section in place, and that stays put. Also, once the front cover is off, the door is going to want to close, not having any counterbalance to keep it down. 2) The soap retainer is held in with spring action from the inner sheet metal tabs. Just flex the sheet metal over the tabs, and work the soap dish assembly out. It's in there snugly around the gasket. Wups, this shows the soap dispenser actually upside down form how it is really oriented. 3) And then there are these spacers that go between the hinges and the outer panel. These fell out on the floor on me, and I sorta had to figure out how they were oriented.
