Looking to troubleshoot a Whirlpool GSW9800PW0. Machine runs through the cycle - properly spins, rinses, drains but does not agitate. All of the plastic agitator parts appear fine. Trying to determine if its the drive motor, solenoid or something different. Need help in narrowing down the needed replacement parts. Thanks for your help.

Can you hear the motor during the wash cycle?
Does it agitate during the rinse cycle?

Thanks for the quick response.

Hear nothing during the wash cycle and it is not agitating during the rinse cycle. I removed the lid and set the latch to view the entire cycle. It would progress from start to finish without agitating. You can here the clicking from step to step. Will fill and empty water during wash and rinse cycles and will spin as required.

Need to determine if I need to pull out the motor for testing or if it simply a solenoid, bearings or something that isn't allowing the agitation.

Thanks,
