The refrigerator is a GE TFX25JRBA WW side-by-side. Just hooked up water line to unit. The water and ice just plain old taste bad. It can't be the water from the home because I just moved and the water was bad at the other place too. It tastes the same here as it did there.

I've looked and can't find a filter anywhere that needs to be replaced. Am I blind or stupid?

Any suggestions?

Hi Kevin,

There is no built-in water filter in this model, so do not blame yourself. You definitely have to install an in-line water filter to improve the water taste.

- The part number for the GE in-line water filter is AP2615841

Gene.
