This refrigerator is in a rental property. The inside of the refrigerator and freezer have been thoroughly cleaned with bleach, as well as the grid. There is no smell inside the refrigerator or freezer. The smell pervades the whole apartment and smells like a dirty diaper. The only place the smell comes from is the grid. It smells worse when you walk in, than it does putting your nose right at the grid.
The apartment is clean and well kept and lived in by a meticulous single person.

The smell originated while the tenant was away for a week.

I am at a loss as to what can be done to correct the situation.

Anyone have any experience with a similar problem??:confused:
