the microwave flashed a bunch of six's across the display then said press power level and it seemed to reset itself. Then the next day non of the keypad buttons would work except the fan and lights. I unplugged hoping it might reset and plugged back in and then nothing worked. A message flashed "Welcome press clear then clock" the buttons wouldn't set. So I thought it might be the key pad switch so I carefully replaced it and I still get the same message and non of the buttons on the key pad work. Any idea of what the problem really is? Keep it simple I am a good part replacer not a Tech.

In most cases the cause of such problem is a bad key pad, but if the new key pad did not fix it then the problem is a bad control board.

- The part number for the control board is AP3774347
