My Compactor model 665.13614101 works fine in normal mode but not in Extra Pac. When I press the Extra Pac button it just goes through the normal pac mode.

What should I be looking for to fix this?

Did you ever get an answer to your problem? I have the same issue.

Not a one. I did some digging and foudn out the it could most likely be the switch on the front, however they are about $75.00 so I am opting not to replace it becuase there is no assurance that it will fix the problem

I, too. was told by JustAnswer.com that it was the switch in the front. I not only replaced that switch (to the tune of $80) but I also paid $15 to the "expert" from JustAnswer. No fix.

Now, I have reason to believe it is the switch on the motor (centrifugal) because it actually make sense how it was explained to me about how that switch functions. I am now deciding if I am going to spend another $80 for that switch.
