I purchased it in 2001 and it has worked fine until recently. It has begun to make a very loud banging noise and there is a cloth-like fiber strips that are being expelled with the rinse water. I've removed the back to inspect and can see nothing wrong from there. I'm assuming it's coming from the front, possibly around the gasket? The basket feels looser, likes it moves more front to back. Before I call a repairman out, I would like to narrow it down more.
