Sorry the picture is not much help
I'm starting to get a definite dislike for this machine.
I am perhaps being overly analytical. I do know that if you do not get it hooked up correctly it will just sit and hum because the capacitor cannot produce the phase shift to get the motor running. I agree with you that the wire gauges do seem to indicate that they should be the power connection. Perhaps the black is just a wire to ground the motor case. |

Fixed it!
Took it all back apart again, cleaned all the terminals and made sure every connetion was super-secure and it's working.
Running a test cycle right now..... Thank you!!

Was leaking at the back so I reseated it and got the wedges in a lot further. Seems to be washing REALLLY GOOD now! I'm so happy! Thank you again!
