Gene, I have a similar problem with the ice maker. When remove the ice maker do I unplug the wire harness coming from the refridgerator or remove each wire to the ice motor? If removing wire harness from the refridgerator what is the trick? I pull it but it doesn't want to budge.

If you are talking about the ice maker wire harness plug then it has two locking tabs on both sides.

I am having a tough time pulling it out. Is there a way to remove the locking tabs? I tried prying with a screwdriver but no joy. Pulling it is not working either. Any suggestions?

You have to push these tabs simultaneously.

Thanks. That was easy. Just had to wait until it dries and reinstall to see if it works. Thanks again.
