My mistake: Maytag, not Whirlpool.

Well, I thought that the leak was from the crack in the drain hose, but that may have occurred when I was pulling the beast from under the counter.

There's a plate above the motor and below the drain hose and the upper-arm hose; the leak's somewhere above that plate. To try to find it, I figured I'd remove the motor and have a look. It seemed simple: four torx screws holding on the motor.

It's not so simple: I removed the torx screws but the motor won't come off.

What else do I need to remove to get the motor off, so I can find this silly leak?

Thanks!
