When I turn my dryer on it sounds like there is a tennis shoe in there banging around. This happens with whites, towels, anything, and there is no tennis shoe in there. Hoping to fix this myself.

Sounds like you need to replace the rollers, idler pully and belt. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
