I bought this dishwasher used as a combo with a stove. It washes, but won't drain. I read the problems others have posted and am stuck.

When it happened the first time I ran it, I hooked a shop-vac to the end of the drain line next to the disposal, it drained it no problem. I then took out the filter and inspected for blockages, I have not found anything. So I figured the pump wasn't working, replaced that this morning and when the cycle was complete I still had a tub full of water. I checked the float, not clogged and seems to travel up and down without a problem.

It does make a weird vibrating/humming sound, that I thought was coming from the drain pump, but with the new one in, it did it again, don't know if that sound is normal or not. Any help is much appreciated!

Did you pop out the drain plug on your disposer.

Below is a good install sheet that applies to most dishwashers

You are welcome

And thanks for getting back to us. Now when others search for a similar problem they will see what actually worked instead of just suggestions about what could be the cause.
