Ice Maker just stopped making ice yesterday. No warning. I removed unit from Frig and inspected. Couldn't find any broken parts or signs of problems. A few small pieces of ice in the tray but no water or leaks. Everything seems surprisingly clean for almost 7 year old unit.

About a week ago the LED lights with the numbers for temp control went dark. About 2 days later they came back on and have been working since. We don't use the ice maker a whole lot so I can't determine if these two problems are related. What do you think?

Should I replace ice maker unit first or the emitter board or both? I'd rather do one or the other if one of the valued experts on the boards can recognize the problem from experience. Part Numbers would be most helpful.

Having family over next week for special occasion and they'll need the ice maker. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
