I have a maytag mmv5000bab. We lost power and when it came back on the microwave was dead. Verified AC at the outlet and unplugged the unit several times to reset with no luck. Checked fuse and thermister and both appear good. Does anyone have a suggestion, or perhaps a service manual they might share?? Thanks a bunch!!

There are two TCO's: the cavity TCO and the bottom TCO. You have to check both of them for continuity. Here are the break down and the wiring diagrams for the Maytag microwave Model MMV5000BABGene.

Thanks Gene, I saw the second TCO (cavity) on the top. It was tough to get at so I measured it at the connector behind the control panel and it was open. I screwed myself up a bit at first by measuring the thermostat as open before I had a schematic and found it to be open also. Upon checking the schematic I realized it is supposed to be open. I believe it is all set. Thanks for the help. This is a great site. I will check in here to see where I may be able to help out in the future.
