I have a older roper dryer model # rex3615ew1 and everytime i try to start the dryer it makes a funny noise and then it will run for a few minutes then it quits any ideas of what it may be. I found the resistor wire the plastic around the plastic appears to be burnt could this be the problem

could it be anything else im not sure dont really know anything about it, just that it will work for awhile then shuts off then after about 20 mins it will start back up.
