I recently replaced the oven temperature sensor (last week) after my oven, a Kenmore, showed an F3 code. This week it is doing it again. Some other history, we bought this house about a year ago. The oven looked to be almost new. The woman cooked on a separate oven/stove in a different room. That noted, we have been using it regularly without issue. In other words, the first oven temperature sensor was still relatively new. Now the second one is giving me the same code. Before I yack up another $80, what is causing this? Any help is helpful. Thanks, Randy

Hi beermebeerme
The "F3" error code means the open oven sensor or ,another word, open circuit. The first thing I would do is to check the sensor wire harness on the back of the oven. If it has any quick disconnect plugs I would eliminate them and reconnect wires using wire nuts. Also I would check the sensor wire connection at the control board.
Good luck. Gene.
