This is an over/under dryer/washer combo.
The washer does not drain water although the unit seems to be cycling and otherwise working properly. An odor of "hot metal"was detected when last attempted.
After I open her up and check the water lines for obstruction, where do I go?
Thanx HZ

Take off the front by taking out the two screws at the bottom and lifting up on the front panel.
I would now disconnect the hoses from the pump, and be prepared for a Niagara to descend upon you.
Next you should reach up under the tub and disconnect the hose coming from the tub. There you should find a sock or something (yesterday I had the same problem, pulled out a ladies unmentionable, so I won't mention what it was.) If all is clear and it still does not drain, check the pump. If you are getting power to the pump when it is in drain mode, replace the pump.
By the way, this is a Frigidaire model.
