Frigidaire over the counter microwave GLMV169GQ. The door was slammed last night. Now when you push start it dies and the breaker pops. Unit is on its own breaker. Resetting the breaker and the microwave comes back on, lights work, clock can be set.... but if you try to cook, the breaker pops.

Am, I looking at a bad door switch, blown fuse or bad transformer. What is the best way to diagnose?

I removed the control panel to see what was obvious. There are 3 door switches. The top and the bottom switch are in place, but the middle switch was just hanging. I can't see where it would attach. As a quick fix, I wrapped electrical tape around it so that it is always in contact and now the microwave works again.

Definitely not the best fix, so if anyone can comment on where this switch is supposed to mount, I would appreciate it.

Another note - everything appears to be working properly with the exception of the vent hood fan. It beep when I push the button, but the fan doesn't do anything. HI, Low or Auto.
