I have an oven and control panel not working. The surface units work fine. I believe they stopped functioning due to a power surge in another part of the house If I replace the control board behind the panel would that solve the problem?

It sounds like your on the right track with this. I would check and make sure voltage to the stove is correct and that the cord connections are ok as well. If so then I would replace the clock control board. Be sure and order the correct overlay as well. I will give you both part numbers for them. One is white the other is black. The part number is Part number: AP2632972
