Need to remove the agitator on the machine (manufactured in 1989) for repair. Does the agitator on this machine just pull off of the splines, or is there something holding the agitator down, like a bolt? I popped off the agitator cap, but don't see anything like a bolt under it. Thanks!

I cannot get your model number to come up, but if your model is the six sided lid, then this service manual is something you should have to help with the repair and any others. Part number: AP2613488

We did figure out that this type pulls up - but also found that we did not need to do that anyway. But thanks!
